Ashley spent a couple of years in Santa Barbara, where she fell in love with sand, the farmers market and weddings!
"I always was drawn to hair and makeup styling for photo shoots, after moving to the tiny town of Santa Barbara I began working with brides and photographers from all over the world.  I just fell in love working with brides and the wedding industry.  The ultimate photo shoot for any girl is her wedding day, and I love doing my part to make the day perfect.  When we decided to move back to Texas I knew I wanted to continue to work with brides.  Belle Mariee was born with the idea of bringing brides professional hair and makeup techniques for a carefree day resulting in flawless images of their wedding. "
Ashley has an eye for detail and playing with the perfect colors and shapes for each person.  She also specializes in sewing up hairstyles (with a needle and thread) and creating textures of all kinds.  Her passion is art and making each person feel their most beautiful.
Her work has been published in Rare Magazine, Celebrity Hair Magazine, Wedding Chicks, Style Me Pretty, and Style Me Pretty Texas, Magnolia Rouge, 100 layer cake, and Nico Cervantes book L is for Love.
When not behind the chair you can find Ashley creating beauty and art on the pottery wheel, on the sewing machine, writing and painting, or in the garden.  Mostly though she is playing and loving life with her two children and family.
"The hill country reminds me so much of Santa Barbara and the place I really fell in love with my work.   I feel so honored to work with so many wonderful brides on their most special day making them feel their most beautiful."
